Witche’s Tea
Indulge your whimsy with an afternoon touched with enchantment at The Maids Quarters tea room in downtown Pottsville. Gather with fellow witches, dreamers, and curious souls for a witchy tea party where warm cups, sweet treats, and magic all await.
Guests will be served a traditional afternoon tea featuring delicate tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an assortment of delectable desserts. Between sips and nibbles, the afternoon will unfold with playful games and prizes, mystical readings, and lively entertainment sure to keep the spirit light and the laughter flowing.
You’ll learn the art of tea leaf reading and be guided through the symbols and secrets hidden in the cup so you can discover what whispers of fortune might be waiting in the leaves.
Each guest will leave with a thoughtfully curated goodie bag filled with witchy treats & charming treasures to enjoy long after the teacups have been cleared away.
Costumes are warmly encouraged but are by no means required. This gathering makes a lovely mother-and-daughter outing, a delightful girls’ day, or a welcoming place for the solitary witch to meet kindred spirits and share a little magic.

Steampunk Tea
Step into a most curious afternoon at The Maids Quarters, where Victorian charm meets a dash of clockwork imagination. Join us for a lively Steampunk Tea Party filled with delightful treats, playful competitions, and a touch of eccentric fun.
Guests will be served a proper afternoon tea featuring delicate tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an assortment of delicious desserts. Between bites and conversation, the afternoon will unfold with lighthearted entertainment, engaging games with prizes, and plenty of laughter.
The highlight of the day will be several hysterical rounds of Tea Dueling—a delightfully absurd Victorian pastime where brave participants attempt to dunk their biscuit into tea and eat it before it collapses. It’s part skill, part spectacle, and entirely entertaining for both duelists and spectators alike.
Each guest will also receive a thoughtfully curated goodie bag filled with charming little treasures to take home and remember the day.

Poe Party
Gather for an afternoon draped in shadow at The Maids Quarters, inspired by the haunting poetry of Edgar Allan Poe.
Guests are invited to gather for a darkly elegant tea where mystery, candlelight, and a hint of gothic mischief set the scene.
A traditional afternoon tea will be served, featuring delicate tea sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and an assortment of decadent desserts. Between courses, the afternoon will unfold with playful games inspired by the works and themes of Poe—clever challenges, curious contests, and moments of laughter worthy of even the most dramatic Victorian parlor. Prizes will be awarded to the most clever participants.
While not required, guests are invited to arrive dressed in black attire.
